Clear Skies Over Autumn Mountains

This book is a collection of musical scores, supported by the China National Arts Fund's Young Creative Talent Program and the Talent Cultivation Funding Program of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. The collection includes four musical works: the art song Remembering the Qin Beauty · Parting with You, the duet Lingering Rhymes of Qin Style, the mixed chamber music The Frontier Looks Bleak When Autumn Arrives, and the orchestral work Clear Skies Over Autumn Mountains.The composer excels at integrating the artistic conceptions of poetry and painting with music. Through the unique narrative language of music, the composer analyzes the relationships between sound imagery, emotional expression, and the creation of aesthetic mood. The composer deconstructs and reconstructs the sonic characteristics of Chinese and Western instruments, breaking free from the influence of fixed Western musical paradigms (such as conventional forms) in terms of structural layout, narrative approach, sound "intentionality," sonic organization, pitch logic, and tempo relationships. In doing so, the composer approaches the aesthetic pursuit of "the unity of self and the world" as aspired to by literati musicians and painters.
