ColecciÃ3n Escojida, Volume 1...

ColecciÃ3n Escojida, Volume 1 presents a selection of writings by Juan Donoso Cortés, marqués de Valdegamas, a prominent Spanish political theorist, diplomat, and Catholic thinker of the 19th century. This volume offers insights into his conservative political philosophy and his profound engagement with the social and political upheavals of his time. Donoso Cortés was deeply concerned with the rise of liberalism and socialism in Europe and sought to articulate a robust defense of traditional Christian values and monarchical authority. Readers interested in Spanish history, political theory, and the intellectual history of Europe will find this collection a valuable resource. His eloquent prose and incisive analysis provide a window into the intellectual debates of the 19th century and offer enduring reflections on the nature of political order and the role of religion in society. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
