The issue of establishing a global free trade area-which is on the WTO's agenda for the 21st century and is referred to as "Made in the World"-is one of the key issues in the development and functioning of global integration blocs. This study examines the possibility of implementing a bipolar concept for the formation of Ukraine's trade and economic regime at the level of free trade zones, both with the EU and with the countries of the EurAsEC/EAEU/CIS. The author concludes that the view that the bipolar concept of integration is antagonistic to Ukraine is erroneous. The study conducts a comparative analysis of Ukraine's institutional integration, both in the West and in the East. An attempt is made to identify and analyze so-called institutional gaps in contemporary integration interactions among EurAsEC/EAEU countries. As the study shows, the interaction and coordination of various integration associations require the development of common approaches and implementation mechanisms at the international level.
