Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism Chinese Traditional Culture

A decade has passed since the founding of the Beijing Shichahai Academy. Throughout these ten years, the Academy has steadfastly adhered to its guiding principle: "to honor the great Way of China's five-thousand-year humanistic heritage; to perpetuate the integrative spirit of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism for the common good; to welcome the diverse explorations of the Hundred Schools of Thought; to embrace the contemporary mission of promoting harmony and human welfare; and to cultivate individuals of moral integrity, self-awareness, and self-strengthening." With this vision, the Academy has dedicated itself to the transmission of traditional culture, the revival of the national ethos, and the gathering of intellectual luminaries. This collected volume for the year 2023 is structured around several thematic sections - "Confucianism and Chinese Traditional Culture," "Buddhism and Chinese Traditional Culture," "Daoism and Chinese Traditional Culture," "The Yijing and Chinese Traditional Culture," and "Crafts and Chinese Traditional Culture." These sections, each approaching the subject from a different angle, collectively illuminate the profound and multi-layered richness of Chinese traditional culture, and are offered in the hope of contributing to its full-scale revitalization in the present age.¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿2023¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿""¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿""¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿""¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿""¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿"¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿
