Contribution of an amide ligand to the decontamination polluted water

Water pollution by heavy metals is a major environmental issue, due to their toxicity and accumulation in ecosystems. Industrial and agricultural activities are responsible for the contamination of water resources by metal ions such as lead, cadmium and copper.
