Bol The quality of life (QOL) of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was consistently impaired, and the factors contributing to this impairment were controversial. The aim of this study is to assess the QoL of patients with COPD and to identify the factors predictive of its impairment. To this end, a cross-sectional analytical study was conducted in the two main pulmonology clinics in Sousse. Quality of life was measured using the validated Tunisian version of the Short Form 36 (SF-36) questionnaire, and clinical and sociodemographic data were collected using a data collection form. A total of 335 patients were evaluated, with a mean age of 66.76 ± 11.64. Patients with impaired physical and mental QoL accounted for 52% and 50.7% of the total population, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that disease severity, age, and comorbidity were predictive factors for QoL.
