Bol The present study focuses on the removal of heavy metals (copper and nickel) in the presence of cyanide from synthetic solutions and rales by means of the electrocoagulation process. The experimentation was carried out using aluminum electrodes, because this material has proven to be effective for the generation of flocs, in addition to its accessible price in the market.thermodynamic analyses were performed, comparing the results obtained with three models, the Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin models, obtaining that the model that best describes the removal process is the Langmuir model, which suggests that the adsorption sites are homogeneous and limited by a monolayer, with values of R2>0.95. Based on the thermodynamic results, the results of , indicate spontaneity in the reaction and an exothermic nature of the adsorption process, suggesting a predominant physisorption mechanism.
