Craving

MD.45 was a one-off side project that included Megadeth's Dave Mustaine (guitar), Fear's Lee Ving (vocals), Jimmy DeGrasso (drums) and Kelly Lemieux (bass). The Craving was originally released in 1996, however, it was remastered in 2004 when Dave Mustaine remixed & remastered the Megadeth back catalog. The remaster does not include Lee Ving's original vocal tracks or harmonica parts due to the master tapes being lost. So, instead of tracking down Lee and re-recording his vocals and harmonica, Dave did the vocals and simulated the harmonica on guitar. The MD in MD.45 is Dave Mustaine's initials backwards and the 45 is Lee Ving's reversed initials in Roman numerals.
