Cruising with Packky

GOD was quietly giggling to Himself the day he wedded/welded us in holy matrimony in the presence of 500 witnesses. Packky, a convent-educated voracious reader from Goa, and me, a simple Mumbai boy educated in vernacular Marathi from a Girgaum chawl! She was fired with a passion for travel, and I was never happy away from Aamchi Mumbai! And, that, led very obviously, to epic battles and adventures and travels until, at last, we found ourselves one day cruising around Ireland! This is a peep into how we travel and pack and fight and cruise through our life together. Not merely a description of cities and sights; it's a humorous take on the struggles and conveniences of the modern Indian traveller, an amusing point of view on the lengths people go to, to click photographs and funny conversations with total strangers in odd places. Every turn on the road has us laughing ourselves silly or fighting tooth and nail... In short, it's as much a cruise through our minds and lives as it is around Ireland.
