Bol This book proposes an analysis of the relationship between culture and competence, based on a cognitive-situational approach to action. Moving away from static conceptions of competence, it highlights its constructed, contextualized character, inseparable from the cultural dynamics in which it is embedded. The book explores the way in which players mobilize, transform and actualize their competencies in a given situation, at the crossroads of cognitive frameworks, collective norms and organizational constraints. By articulating theoretical contributions and epistemological reflection, it contributes to a renewed understanding of organized action and contemporary forms of competence in complex organizations.
