All Hail The Silence, the project of American electronic artist BT and English singer-songwriter Christian Burns, has releasied its first full-length LP ‡ (Daggers). Entirely constructed with step sequencers and modular/analog synthesizers recorded straight to tape, the record is a meticulously crafted ode to the golden age of synth-pop. Listening to the group's new single, 'Temptation,' evokes the very best of that era -- Depeche Mode, New Order, Human League -- with a few modern touches to give All Hail The Silence their own unique signature.Recording in a friend's basement in Baltimore, All Hail The Silence expertly tap into a sound that is oft-copied but hard to authentically capture. The warmth of the group's vintage electronic equipment and analog synths perfectly complements Burns' soaring vocals and compelling hooks.
