A nerd must fight powerful spirits and aliens all vying for the secret power of his “family jewel,” and he teams up with his high school crush, Momo Ayase, and a spirit granny to face the paranormal. The story follows Okarun, a high school boy obsessed with supernatural phenomena, as he confronts challenges from Turbo Granny and other otherworldly forces. Momo Ayase and Okarun find themselves on opposite sides of what they believe, and their quest to prove each other wrong unfolds into secret crushes and intense paranormal battles. To break a curse placed on him, Okarun and Momo challenge Turbo Granny to a high-stakes race, while Turbo Granny’s assassin—a bound spirit in the form of a giant crab—has his own plans that complicate the pursuit of power and freedom.
