'The Right to Self-Determined Dying in Prison. A Constitutional and Criminal Law Analysis': Against the background of the ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court on the invalidity of Section 217 of the German Criminal Code and the associated strengthening of the right to self-determined dying, the question arises as to whether and how the wish for assisted suicide can also be complied with in the penal system. Taking into account the constitutional implications of this fundamental right and the risks under criminal law, the author answers this question with a draft bill for the revision of an euthanasia law.
