David in the Wilderness: Little Lamb Rhymes

David is running for his life, leaving the palace behind for caves, forests, and wild places. He finds help from priests, hides from enemies, and carries the sword of Goliath as his journey grows more dangerous. Though he once stood before cheering crowds, he now walks lonely roads where every step matters. Soon others begin to gather around him, people who are troubled, afraid, or in need of a leader. David protects his family, shelters Abiathar, and even rescues the city of Keilah while Saul continues to hunt him. The wilderness becomes a place of danger, courage, and surprising kindness. As Saul's anger grows darker, David must keep moving through strongholds, mountains, and desert places. Just when the chase feels closest, Jonathan comes to strengthen his friend and remind him that he is not forgotten. This exciting retelling follows David through narrow escapes, loyal friendship, and the first hard steps of a shepherd becoming a king.
