Dawn of the Beast

Magic is rare. Power is controlled. And one child could change everything. In a world where industry feeds on magic and the poor pay the price, survival is never guaranteed.Dawn of the Beast follows Ella Blakesley, a young girl born into hardship on the industrial continent of Besal-where mana powers machines, corporations dictate life, and hope is rationed like heat in winter. When Ella begins to show signs of forbidden magical ability, her family is thrust into a dangerous reality where magic is not a gift, but a commodity. As her mother's health deteriorates from prolonged mana exposure and her father grows increasingly desperate, Ella's growing power becomes both a miracle and a curse. In a society that exploits mages and trades in secrets, the line between protection and control begins to blur-and innocence is the first thing lost.Blending emotional depth with dark fantasy world-building, Dawn of the Beast is a haunting exploration of family, exploitation, and the cost of power in a world that no longer protects its children. This is the beginning of a story about awakening-of magic, of monsters, and of the strength forged through suffering.
