Death Witness

Unable to forget these elders in their walk at their end-of-life remains my witness upon their death. Their death narrative I recorded by my close proximity to them often with the request I be present for their death. Whereby, in keeping my promise I came to see myself as their: Death Witness.In recording their stories, I hope I gave their family-honor. Since with death, I remembered best what I could not forget. Sharing these death narratives my aim was to provide reflection and impetus to you to plan ahead for your death. By making your choices ahead of death guides and influences the family you leave behind and then becomes a future family legacy. Peace at death is the goal we all aspire. A better death is what we all want. Let us have that death discussion ahead of time with our loved ones, especially those who will be with us at death. As those discussions and slight death plans go forward in provision for a much greater peace-a peace only given by death.___________Carla Rollandini recalls a vision from the light in 1957 then later records her most poignant dreams. Knowing an unseen source brought certain messages important enough to record, paint and photo for the rest of her life. A graduate of George Mason University in Virginia as a social worker she mentored others and ended her career as a senior advisor in her practice of Carlä¿Care. Inspiring her elders entering their sunset stage of life she used life-review, dream recall and the healing of memories to provide much greater peace at their death.
