Bol The proposed project with the title "Design and Implementation of an Archimedes Wind Tur-bine (AWT) with Edge Intelligence" aims at designing a renewable energy system that will be able to generate electricity from wind energy efficiently and intelligently. Due to high demands for clean energy sources and depletion of fossil fuels, wind energy has become a more viable source of energy that can help produce electricity in future. Under the present project, a wind turbine called Archimedes wind turbine is proposed to be designed using a special helical or spiral bladed design that gives superior aerodynamic efficiency compared to typical wind tur-bines with either horizontal or vertical blades. The key feature about Archimedes wind turbine that makes it a more viable energy harvesting device is the efficiency and effectiveness of the same during low wind speed scenarios.
