DETOX FROM CHRISTIANITY: An Orthodox Jewish Guide to Testing Christian Proof Texts, Leaving Church Authority, and Returning the One God

Detox From Christianity is not another soft "interfaith dialogue" book. It is a Torah-first examination of Christian proof texts, church authority, original sin, atonement, hell, fulfilled prophecy, the second coming, and the claim that Jesus is the Messiah.Written for Christians, former Christians, Jews, and Noahides, this book asks one controlling question: Has Christianity earned the right to reinterpret the Hebrew Bible?Frans Hansen tests Christian claims under the rules of the Tanakh itself, not under assumptions supplied by the New Testament, the church, or later creeds. The result is a direct, disciplined, and often uncomfortable challenge to the Christian system of interpretation.Inside you will find: A clear breakdown of the authority loop: using the New Testament to prove Jesus, then using Jesus to authorize the New Testament, then using both to reinterpret Torah.A Torah-first test of major Christian claims, including the Trinity, original sin, exclusive salvation, atonement through Jesus, "fulfilled" Torah, and the second-coming solution.A close examination of famous proof texts from Isaiah, Psalms, Daniel, Zechariah, Malachi, and the New Covenant passages.A practical guide for recognizing missionary pressure patterns, proof-text cascades, emotional manipulation, translation traps, and "Jesus everywhere" readings.A recovery section for readers leaving church authority: how to separate fear from evidence, rebuild spiritual language, and remove Christian reflexes from the way you see God, humanity, sin, judgment, and Scripture. This book does not ask you to hate Christians. It asks you to test Christianity. If the Hebrew Bible truly points to Jesus, the claim should survive context, grammar, covenant, and Jewish source discipline. If it cannot survive those tests, fear should not be allowed to protect it.Read it slowly. Test every claim. Bring the Hebrew.
