Development of Antifoam Technology for Gas Purification

The synthesized foam suppressant was tested using physical, chemical and colloid-chemical (IR spectroscopy, refractometry, extraction, and stalogmometric) methods. At the same time, in accordance with the DLFO (Deryagina, Landau, Ferveya, Overbeka) theory, the functional effect of the hydroxyl group of the foam suppressant, that is, the mechanism of its action on the foam film by adsorption and film rupture, is scientifically proven. In order to prevent the foaming of MDEA in the process of absorption gas purification, a technology for obtaining a TSU-1 brand foam suppressant based on local raw material waste hexane is presented.The monograph is intended for scientific engineers, technical personnel, and students of technical universities.
