Dialect Culture and Aesthetic Experience: The mass media society according to Gianni Vattimo

"Culture of Dialects and Aesthetic Experience" is a discussion aimed at exploring the way in which Gianni Vattimo develops a philosophical reflection on "postmodernity". To this end, we draw upon Vattimo's interpretations of the thought of philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche and Martin Heidegger, in which we find the necessary foundations for a crucial understanding of our times and, consequently, the development of his philosophical thoughts on the subject. Thus, a reflection is proposed on the new experiences arising from postmodernity, notably on the role of the mass media in this society, seeking to elucidate the new cultural configuration present in the so-called postmodern society and, consequently, the role of the mass media in this globalised society, primarily through an examination of the work *The Transparent Society*, with a view to its proposal for the emancipation of thought, aiming to present the culture of dialects and the artistic experience present in this cultural context as characteristic of what will be termed a media society.
