Digital transformation is reshaping grassroots social governance by promoting digital empowerment, collaborative participation, and intelligent governance. In this context, youth, as a digitally native social force, have become important actors in governance innovation. This book examines youth participation in grassroots social governance under digital conditions, focusing on behavior generation, value shaping, and optimization mechanisms. Based on theories of ideological and political education, social governance, digital governance, and civic participation, it develops an analytical framework covering value formation, behavioral formation, pattern evolution, and pathway optimization. The study reveals that digital technologies enhance youth participation by improving information access, interaction opportunities, governance capabilities, and participation efficiency, while also creating challenges such as weak transformation from online expression to sustained action, insufficient institutional integration, and digital capability disparities.
