Advocates of this form of learning praise it as truly forward-looking, as it has a positive impact on motivation and problem-solving skills, whilst its opponents criticise it for having a negative long-term impact on pupils' learning ability. As part of this project, a digital programming educational game was developed in-house and evaluated qualitatively using a questionnaire. The study investigated how the use of a digital educational game for learning the C# programming language in programming lessons affects pupils' motivation.
