Situated on the banks of the river Yamuna, Delhi is a very ancient and holy city. Its thousands of years long and interesting history is etched in the minds of all Indians. The glorious history and culture of Delhi begins thousands of years ago from the Mahabharata era, when the Pandavas made Indraprastha their capital. Lord Krishna also contributed a lot to the Indraprastha built by the Pandavas. With the changing environment, the culture here also kept changing.
