Discipleship A Key to Kingdom Expansion

When Jesus was on the earth, He chose twelve men to be Hisdisciples. He would teach them to become a different class of menfrom a supernatural dimension. They would become like Him teaching whatHe taught them. They received His kingdom and expanded it on the earth.He told them, "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasureto give you the kingdom." They experienced the abundant life Jesus gives.His command was to make disciples of all nations. They obeyed Him.They demonstrated what the kingdom was like. In this 21st century, wecan do the same. Our revelation of Jesus Christ should transform us.We can be disciples of Jesus. Having a personal relationship with Godbrings His kingdom in us through Jesus Christ and the indwelling HolySpirit. Jesus came not only in grace and truth, but also with His Father'skingdom and power.As followers of Christ, we have this responsibility. It comes througha relationship with God and relationship with others. Discipleship should bewithin the framework of our methods to expand God's kingdom. This studytakes us into a discovery of discipleship for those in a relationship withJesus Christ! We bear the image of Christ. His kingdom will change us, andthe people around us. God will use us as an invitation to bring others intofellowship with Jesus Christ and into His kingdom.
