DJ’s Hardware Haven: the Wizard of Aisles

Welcome to DJ's Hardware Haven, the most magical store in Coldwater Springs! DJ is the friendly owner who can find any bolt, screw, or gadget-and he knows exactly how to help kids turn their big ideas into reality. When young Sutton needs to build a birdhouse for bluebirds, DJ doesn't just hand her tools-he shares his "Master Plan" with the perfect glue, nails, and weather protection. Later, he surprises his forgetful friend William with the exact wrench he'll need (again!).DJ shows children that building dreams takes the right tools, a little patience, and a lot of kindness. With the satisfying whirrr-zip-spark of the key cutter and the warm smell of cedar and metal, his store feels like a treasure chest full of possibilities. This uplifting story celebrates creativity, mentorship, and the joy of making things with your own hands. A wonderful gift for aspiring builders, young makers, and anyone who believes the right tool can help you build a dream.
