Don't Forget Who You Are

Het nieuwe album van Miles Kane, getiteld 'Don't Forget Who You Are'. Het album is de opvolger van zijn veelgeprezen debuut uit 2011 'Colour of the Trap'. De plaat is een ode aan Kane's rock & roll roots, met kant en klare anthems maar ook vuige gitaren en experimentele tempo wisselingen. 'Don't Forget Who You Are' is geproduceerd door Ian Broudie (The Zutons, Echo and the Bunnymen). Miles Kane schreef samen met Paul Weller het nummer 'You're Gonna Get It', met dit nummer traden ze in februari 2013 op tijdens de NME Awards tour.Miles Kane over 'Don't Forget Who You Are': “The one thing I wanted for the new album was that there had to be no fat on any of the songs. They needed to sound really lean. The blueprint for it, before I'd even gone for the rock n' roll and glam-rock vibe, was that it had to sound incredibly direct.”
