The life of a Black American Werewolf is a balancing act between self-control and rage. She can rip a Joker's face off for grabbing her behind and eviscerate an Influencer who pets her hair. She can join the Briarpatch, a secret society of Black werewolves living in Austin, Texas. She can run with the Troop Dragonfly, an all-female pack of werewolves. She can eat barbecue and tacos at a park every Werewolf Wednesday.But every time she Turns, her hair grows. Everywhere. That means a trip to the Salon, the one place in Austin where the beauticians can make a werewolf look human again.Then Delilah, a greedy beautician, sells her clients' hair to Stacy the boo hag.
