Dr. John's "voodoo" blues, zijn inventieve pianospel, stem en het New Orleanse in hem maken hem zowel bewonderenswaardig als een geliefde persoonlijkheid. Dr. John heeft Montreux al 6 keer aangedaan. Hij heeft besloten dat dit concert uit 1995 uitgebracht moest worden op onze Live At Montreux serie. Het is een uitzonderlijk optreden en bevat classics als Iko Iko en Right Place, Wrong Time.
