Bohan is a children's book author, poet, fine artist, singer-songwriter, musician and activist living in San Francisco, California. This is Bernadette's first children's book focused on teaching children about taking care of our environment and our earth's precious resources. Bernadette is a 1st generation Irish-American, hailing from Connecticut, educated in Boston and has lived and travelled around the world and runs her own infamous art space in the Mission District of San Francisco called The Box Factory where she and local and global artists collaborate, create and keep the arts alive. Bernadette is active not only in the arts community, she is involved in causes relating to women's and gender rights, animal and environmental rights and social justice issues such as Black Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter, LGBTIA topics, the #MeToo movement and more.
