Dream Land: (Urdu Short Stories)

Dreamland gathers seven powerful short stories by acclaimed Urdu writer Jeelani Bano, where dreams, desire and harsh reality constantly collide. In tales like Patthar ka Shehzada, Mom ki Maryam, Ae Dil Ae Dil, Gudiya ka Ghar, Paraya Ghar, Jannat ki Talaash and Dreamland, she probes women's inner solitude, class divides, fragile homes and broken illusions. Her style is gentle yet piercing: rich in atmosphere, suggestive symbols and precise detail that quietly expose power, patriarchy and emotional violence. These stories move from children's playrooms to oppressive mansions, from imagined paradises to disenchanted cityscapes, but the questioning gaze remains the same. Dreamland invites readers into a female world of longing and resistance, turning private pain into enduring art./¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ''¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿''¿ ''¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿''¿ ''¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿''¿ ''¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿''¿ ''¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿''¿ ''¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿'' ¿¿¿ ''¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿'' ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿
