Drinks Menu #3

Welcome the third edition of the Drinks Menu literature magazine. After two successful issues, another whirlwind of poetry and short stories awaits you. The texts in this third edition were created by writers from all over the world who met at the WUTI Amsterdam Writers Club, hosted by Vice Versa, where excellence and collegial exchange come together. The contributions in this issue couldn’t be more diverse, just as we all are as humans. Different perspectives, experiences and passions shape what you will soon hold in your hands. The title “Foreigner in Language” refers to the fact that many of us move around the world at a certain stage of our lives. While some find a new home far from where they grew up, others find themselves becoming rooted in different cultures, languages, countries and continents. So it is with language — who are we when we write and speak? Is it really us in the words that have left our hands and mouths? Let’s find out in this fresh edition of Drinks Menu #3.
