Dropkick Murphys & Haywire 617 - New England Forever (CD)

New England Forever is a split LP that unites Boston’s veteran Dropkick Murphys with rising act Haywire 617, capturing the gritty spirit and regional pride of their shared New England roots. The album’s sound is grounded in a high-energy blend of rock and punk, with Dropkick Murphys bringing their driving Celtic punk edge and Haywire 617 adding a harder, contemporary hardcore punk bite. Issued as coloured vinyl, this LP emphasizes a physical, collectible presentation that suits its rowdy, live-show origins and the close-knit fan culture around both bands.Released in 2026, New England Forever plays like a document of camaraderie built on touring together, sharing stages, and trading influences. Each band’s side showcases tight, aggressive songwriting, gang vocals, and big, shout-along choruses that feel designed for packed clubs and festival pits rather than quiet listening rooms. The production highlights punchy drums, loud guitars, and an anthemic vocal style, while the split format reinforces the sense of two distinct voices speaking the same language of working-class pride, defiance, and community. In coloured vinyl LP form, the record stands as both a musical collaboration and a tangible memento of a particular moment in New England punk history.
