The monograph is devoted to the problem of diagnostics and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) - one of the topical pathologies of dental practice. Anatomo-physiological bases, clinical manifestations, modern diagnostic methods (CLCT, MRI, gnathodynamometry, kinesiography, vibration analysis), as well as their practical significance and limitations are considered.Clinical examples reflecting the variety of symptomatology and approaches to therapy are presented. Special attention is paid to the integrated use of conservative and surgical methods, including medication, physiotherapy, occlusal splints and arthrocentesis.The monograph is intended for dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, interns and residents, and may also be useful for researchers dealing with TMJ problems.
