Eating disorders (ED) are serious psychiatric illnesses that present complex symptoms and poor prognosis. They mainly affect young adults, who often discontinue treatment. The aim of this study was to outline the profile of treatment discontinuation among patients with ED at a specialized service and investigate the associated factors. This is a descriptive exploratory cross-sectional study with a comparative and qualitative-quantitative design.
