Echoes in the Feed

Megan Decker leads a numb existence as a content moderator until a single flagged video fractures her detachment. What begins as professional exhaustion soon reveals itself as the first stirrings of an ancient hunger. As residual energies from the footage awaken dormant senses, Megan experiences involuntary pulls that invigorate her while leaving others dazed. Subtle physical shifts appear along her spine, marking the start of a profound rewrite. Torn between her former life and the intoxicating power that now courses through her, she grapples with control and consequence. Each encounter blurs the line between observer and participant, forcing her to confront the seductive danger of feeding on the vitality of those around her. In this slow transformation from corporate drone to something far more primal, Megan must decide how much of her humanity she is willing to surrender.
