**Ecological Critique in Contemporary Ecuadorian Art (2015-2022)** analyzes the ways in which Ecuadorian artists have addressed the ecological crisis, territorial conflicts, and the consequences of extractivism through contemporary visual practices. The book examines six multimedia works produced between 2015 and 2022, focusing on how art becomes a critical tool for reflecting on the relationships between nature, culture, politics, and technology in the Ecuadorian context. From an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates political ecology, ecocriticism, posthumanism, and visual studies, the research examines the aesthetic and discursive strategies through which these works challenge the anthropocentric and extractivist logics that have historically shaped the relationship with the territory. Through visual analysis, interviews with artists, and fieldwork, the book reveals how artistic practices generate new forms of knowledge and sensitivity in the face of contemporary environmental transformations.
