Edie Emu and the Dancing Seeds: A Bushland Adventure About Patience, Change Helping Nature Grow

Edie Emu likes everything to be exactly where it belongs.Stones beside the path. Leaves beneath the trees. Friends standing in a nice, neat line-even if Kevin Kangaroo rarely stays there! But when a lively bush wind sends hundreds of seeds whirling through the air, Edie races to collect every last one and put the bush back in order. With help from Katie Koala, Kevin Kangaroo, Carl Crocodile and Ernie Echidna, Edie discovers that seeds are natural travellers. Some fly on the wind, some float on water, and others hitch rides on fur and feathers as they search for new places to grow.Soon Edie must learn that helping nature does not always mean putting everything back where it was. Sometimes it means watching carefully, protecting new life and giving it room to find its own way.Filled with lovable baby Australian animals, rhythmic prose, gentle humour and beautiful watercolour illustrations, Edie Emu and the Dancing Seeds is a heartwarming bushland adventure about patience, change and the wonderful ways nature creates new beginnings.Perfect for children aged 3-8
