Vaccine quality determines the expected outcomes of vaccination. It depends on the effectiveness of the technical and logistical management system in place. Our study is retrospective, covering the period from 2010 to 2014 and focusing on vaccine logistics management at the Kisangani EPI sub-center. A literature review, supplemented by semi-structured interviews with managers and vaccination service providers, enabled us to evaluate vaccine management using the WHO GEV model to identify discrepancies. In summary, it was observed that providers had limited knowledge regarding vaccines that cannot be frozen, freeze tests, and other types of vaccine damage. Computerized data management at the branch is properly implemented. None of the assessed criteria met the 80% target. Compliance with storage temperature is 70% at the branch level; compliance with vaccine management criteria is 65% and 67%, respectively, at the BCZ and CS levels. It is noted that logistical system malfunctions are significant at all levels of the country's healthcare system.
