Elite Player: A Fake Engagement Hockey Romance

Hockey's biggest playboy knocked me out with a puck. One minute, I'm taking pictures of the team, and the next, I'm in a hospital room. With a fiancé. Due to his off-ice shenanigans, Nico Tremblay needs to prove to the front office that he has changed his ways or else. So, after he gives me a concussion and sprained wrist, he concocts a wild idea to pretend we're engaged. It would allow him to keep his spot on the team and get my family off my back. There is only one small problem-no one would actually believe the gorgeous and charming left-winger could ever actually want to marry me, backward and inexperienced Josephine Atkins. Except when he calls me his fiancée while staring at my lips, I almost believe it. Maybe it's the concussion or a moment of wild rebellion against everyone I've ever known underestimating me...but I agree. And then there's no way out of this lie that binds us closer and closer together.
