Entrepreneurship: A Christian Perspective

For over 25 years Richard Goossen and Paul Stevens have primarily focused on the challenges of applying the Christian faith in an entrepreneurial context. Convinced that the Bible and Christian tradition are an amazing resource in understanding the meaning of and motivation for establishing a business or a not-for-profit or bringing innovation to an existing organization, to that end they have published books on marketplace theology, taking your soul to work, connecting Sunday and Monday, and most recently a book that scours the Bible from Genesis to Revelation on the subject of work. Their book emphatically advocates that there is a distinct Christian perspective and fundamental dynamics of entrepreneurship-and they are not neutral, and that they are needed to better equip students, practitioners and instructors with a distinct approach in both the concepts (worldview, theology, etc.) and the practice of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship: A Christian Perspective equips present and future "entrepreneurial leaders" to fulfill their God-given entrepreneurial potential to have a transformative impact locally and globally in their respective spheres whether businessperson, social worker, factory worker, or pastor.
