Talented head-hunter, thirty-year old Rose is trying to recruit Leo, a handsome, intriguing investigative journalist, for one of her clients. Confused by her feelings for Leo, she reluctantly agrees to make a trip to her hometown of Annecy to promote a book she recently published. She has not been there since her father's tragic accident more than ten years ago. Once there, she bumps into her first love, Thomas, who left her abruptly when her father died. Thomas's young wife, Eva, seems to harbour an unhealthy curiosity about their past relationship and Rose is justifiably cautious. Over the course of the weekend, Rose will be forced to face the bitter, agonizing secrets of her childhood and, if not for Leo's guiding hand, she might lose herself along the way.
