Aesthetics, from the perspective of Yuriko Saito, cannot be reduced to a philosophy of art; rather, it is intimately linked to our daily lives--to the care of the everyday--that is, to the relationship we establish with the "other," whether these be human beings, non-human creatures, environments, or objects.
