Evangelism and the Great Commission

For Bible-believing, gospel-preaching churches, evangelizing the lost is not optional Evangelism and the Great Commission provides the right kind of help for churches, organizations, and individuals struggling with evangelism. Showing how evangelism can become a regular part of prayer, teaching, modeling, and practice, this book points out the path faithful evangelists tread and prepares readers for the terrain. Shane Pruitt and Bobby Worthington have compiled a theological, biblical, practical, and inspiring evangelism guide. Contributors representing distinct evangelism experience, research, and study convey the simple yet complex reality of reaching out with the truth of Christ, covering topics such as: - Grasping the content of the gospel Christians share. - Filling the distinct biblical roles of evangelism. - Reaching diverse people groups effectively. - Keeping both a multigenerational and an eternal perspective. Evangelism and the Great Commission highlights why evangelism must be a primary focus for believers and outlines how to make that happen. Pruitt, Worthington, and others share valuable resources to sharpen your own, your organization's, and your church's evangelism and reach key groups of people who often miss Christian gospel efforts.
