Everyone in Town Forgot the Mountain

In Black Hollow, forgetting is not a flaw-it is a way of life. For generations, the quiet town has survived by letting memories disappear. Missing people are never questioned. Strange events are brushed aside. Painful truths vanish before they can settle. To the people of Black Hollow, forgetting keeps life simple, safe, and stable. But Lena begins to remember.Fragments of impossible memories start breaking through-faces no one else recalls, hidden tunnels beneath the mountain, and whispers of a terrifying ritual that has shaped the town for longer than anyone admits. The deeper Lena digs, the more she uncovers a horrifying truth: Black Hollow was built around something ancient buried beneath Mount Veil, a force that feeds on memory, identity, and the fragile agreement of reality itself. When the town turns against her and forgotten histories come flooding back, Lena is forced into a nightmare beneath the mountain where stolen memories, ancient sacrifices, and an awakening entity threaten to tear reality apart. But survival comes at a devastating cost.Weeks later, Black Hollow appears normal again. The streets are calm. Life goes on.There is only one problem. No one remembers Lena. And where Mount Veil once stood...there is nothing at all.
