Through poems and lyrical essays, Lizzy invites you to join her as she explores how her past and present have shaped her view of what it means to build a meaningful life; even if it does not look like everyone else's.Lizzy Madrigal is a therapist and writer based in Orange County, CA. She is a graduate of Emerson College's MFA in Popular Fiction and has co-written several articles for the mental health nonprofit IDONTMIND. While her primary focus in the past has been writing fiction, she also enjoys writing poetry to help process and understand her emotions to the fullest capacity. With more than ten years of experience in the mental health field, she hopes to combine her loves of psychology and writing to create stories that will continue to inspire others.
