Bol Everybody comes with baggage. It doesn't matter if it's physical, emotional, spiritual-we all have a past of some sort that we carry with us every single day, and that past has worked hard to influence the person we are today. Excerpts from the Medicine Cabinet explores the idea of past trauma and its effects on identity formation through the lenses of mental health, LGBTQ+ violence, and religious trauma. This poetry collection aims to answer every "why" with a raw but honest truth, leaving readers to realize that the past can't always stay in the past, no matter how hard you work to forget it.
