The Exped Ultra 10R is a high-insulation sleeping mat engineered for use in extremely cold conditions, offering substantial warmth and comfort without unnecessary bulk or weight. It is the warmest in the Ultra line and a reliable choice for demanding winter camping and cold-weather expeditions.The mat features the latest EXPED SYNMAT PLUS TECHNOLOGY™: recycled synthetic microfiber insulation is combined with reflective foil and bonded to the top and bottom of the air chambers to maximize thermal efficiency. The foil is suspended within the mat so it does not rustle or creak when you change position.The Comfort Cradle™ construction with slightly raised outer tubes keeps the sleeper centered on the mat and improves lateral stability. Two low‑profile flat valves separate inflation and deflation, minimizing wear on the tent floor; the inflation valve incorporates a non‑return function to prevent air loss while filling. The Ultra 10R is supplied with an Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL M for rapid, moisture‑free inflation, which also serves as a lightweight, waterproof storage bag.
