Rayalaseema is one of the most underdeveloped regions of Andhra Pradesh, India, characterized by limited resources and low socio-economic conditions. Factionalism and human rights are fundamentally incompatible, as factional practices often result in serious violations of the rights of innocent citizens. Political conflicts and factionalism in Rayalaseema are widespread social phenomena. Victims of factionalism, including followers and family members of those involved in factional politics, are frequently deprived of their basic human rights.
