Fade, My Dying Flame

Hidden behind the visor of a tarnished helmet, eye sockets, like barrows deep, hide the soul of their sunken irises. Underneath the thick, oppressive clouds blanketing the sky, the eyes gaze from the safety of their helm upon a world of emptiness, whose harrowing shadow raises the goosebumps upon one's skin. A cold breeze drifts through hollow trunks and empty corridors, carrying with it the ghostly cries of souls left adrift in despair. As the wind fades and these voices retreat, a knight and his only companion, his steadfast steed, stare on into the silence of this world's withering waste. Follow our knight as he embarks on a bleak journey through this barren land, seeking both the remnants of his own identity and the salvation of a world on the brink of oblivion. He will face reconciliation with this world's past, confront the shattered remnants of humanity, and try to find a strength within to resist the sin that lingers in every shadow of this world.
