False Start: To the Peters & Prodigals of Faith

Lest we forget that there is no perfect man, and that it is not by might or power but by the Lord's spirit. Our frailties and insufficiencies present themselves and call to be marked present in rollcall points of our lives. The effects of these occurrences can trip us up and pin us down in pits that are not always easy to come back from. The Lord's mercy rides on the wings of the Holy Ghost to remind us that "the race is not for the swift..." There is yet time and hope available! Our advocate is One who restores years! Supernatural speed is a resource of the Kingdom. We witnessed it on Elijah's run (1st Kings 18:46) and we must also make demands on the grace. Rise up and run. Many before us stumbled also, for different reasons and on different or similar grounds.... Let your name be recorded among the numbers who did not stay down and wallow. It is time to arise, says the Lord! "Go tell my disciples and PETER..." "We have work to do." Arise and build.
